AFRICA, A NEW CONTINENT FOR THG PARIS

Le Mag Afrique Farah 2

Born in Africa from a multicultural background, Farah is in charge of developing THG Paris in all of Africa. She also ensures liaison with a variety of partners, including distributors, State-registered architects, interior designers, design departments, local constructors, individual clients or diplomats, helping them manage their construction project.

Everything still remains to be built”, Farah said. Our Key Account Manager is penetrating two markets – residential property and the hotel industry – with turnkey projects: “THG Paris will design the bathroom or the spa of your dreams. My role is to assist you in each step of your project. Every single creation at THG Paris – bathroom fittings, bath, basin, heated towel rail and other accessories – is customisable. In order to create exceptional pieces, I recommend the finest materials, such as semi-precious stones, crystal or marble”. Farah also works alongside the architects and the operating teams, serving as the single point of contact to ensure smooth implementation.

In Africa, networking is everything. Farah is well-connected and deals directly with the stewardship teams of presidential palaces and their entourage, influential businessmen and women, architects and major hotel companies.

The hotel industry is rapidly expanding in Africa and represents great opportunities for THG Paris. Many business hotels are currently being built in West and East Africa, targeting a business clientele from the continent, which we must make a point to attract”.

Trends vary from one country to another. Stakeholders in Côte d’Ivoire tend to favour a classical style, while Ghana is all about contemporary vibes. Regarding decoration, Calacatta Oro marble is in fashion, both in modern and traditional configurations.

Needless to say, the THG Paris collections in partnership with major French brands and renowned designers are greatly appreciated. They represent an extra French touch that allows clients to embrace the art of living à la française.

In our Prestige line, the most popular collections are the Metropolis Clear Crystal collection and “Pétale de Cristal”, in collaboration with French designer Pierre-Yves Rochon and Baccarat. Highly requested finishes in the hotel industry include Blush PVD, an alternative to rose gold, and Matt Gold PVD”.

A businesswoman who loves her job, Farah Houdroge concludes with stars in her eyes: “THG Paris is an absolutely timeless brand of luxury and art of living. We create bathroom trends and are driven by a desire to provide a unique experience. Our projects combine French know-how and the creativity of architects and interior designers. The THG Paris universe is a true invitation to relaxation and well-being, and I am excited to take on the challenge of presenting it to the African continent”.
